Information submitted through GP Advice Hub is used solely for the purpose of reviewing case conference requests and coordinating multidisciplinary care discussions. Clinical information should only be submitted with appropriate patient consent.

Medicare eligibility

Medicare rebates for case conferencing items are subject to eligibility criteria and clinical appropriateness under the current Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS). Referring GPs should ensure that the relevant treatment plans and documentation requirements are in place prior to claiming.

Fees

Patients are responsible for any fees associated with the case conference. Out-of-pocket costs may vary depending on the GP’s professional fee and Medicare eligibility. All fees should be confirmed prior to booking.

GP Advice Hub facilitates multidisciplinary clinical discussion and care coordination. It does not replace direct clinical care or urgent medical assessment.
